Silvia Meggiolaro is Assistant Professor in Social Statistics at the Department of Statistical Sciences at University of Padova since 2011.
She previously participated to several Projects and she is currently involved in EU- Project “Changing families and sustainable societies: policy contexts and diversity over the life course and across generations” (Seventh Framework Programme) and CO.SI.L.PO. “Research, Formation, and profession for the development of the competences in younger generations within an open dialogue between school world and work in Polesine”.
Her research interests are the following: the influence of the economic and social context on the individual behaviours; demographic, economic and social consequences of marital instability; minors’ living conditions; students’ outcomes at school and at university.
About these topics, she wrote several articles in national and international journals, previously presented in national and International conferences.
