In 2001 scholarship at the Institute of Research on Population (IRP-CNR) about “International migrations”.
Post-Graduate Diploma of Specialisation in Methods and Techniques of the Social Research in 2003 and Ph.D. in Demography in 2006, both at Sapienza, University of Rome. In 2006 research assistant in the MIREM Project (Migration de REtour au Maghreb), at Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies (RCSAS), European University Institute and then collaborated, in the same Institute, in the CRIS Project (Cross-Regional Information System on the Reintegration of Migrants in their Countries of Origin). In 2005 responsible of CNR Funds for Young Researchers used to carry out the field survey “Children of foreign origin in the Italian schools in Rome and Latium” (with O. Casacchia and L. Natale), local unit of the broader Italian project (coordinated by G. Dalla Zuanna).
Participation, in 2006, in the project “J.I.F.T. – Job Instability and changes in Family and household Trends” financed by the European Commission and, in 2009-2011, in the Working group Istat-Isfol with the aim of redrawing the Istat Sample survey on births.
Today’s main research interests are: period and cohort fertility, demographic behaviors of foreign population, work and family reconciliation and social network analysis’ applications to survey data.
