The 10^th edition of the Popdays (Giornate di Studio sulla Popolazione) were held in Brixen, 6-8 february 2013. The conference was hosted by the Faculty of Education, Free University of Bozen.

The program comprises several parallel scientific session, poster session and two plenary sessions. The introductive plenary session was organized together with Dutsche Gesellschaft für Demographie (DGD) – German Association for Demography. The session, chaired by susanne Elsen, included presentations made by Sonja Haug (The muslim population in Grmany), Eva Kibele (Regional mortality differences in Germany), Frederik Peters and Robert Beise (Is there an influence of the past mortality on present leveld of life expectancy in Europe?)

In the closing plenary session Alessandra De Rose and Gianpiero Dalla Zuanna  presented the fourth report on the Italian Population – Rapporto sulla popolazione 2013. Sessualità e riproduzione nell’Italia contemporanea

During the conference, the General assembly took place with a speech of the President of the AISP Alessandra De Rose.
