Call for Papers

The Italian Association for Population Studies (Sis-Aisp) invites contributions to the next Giornate di Studio sulla Popolazione (Popdays 2019) to be held in Milan - Boccony University, 24- 26th January 2019. Popdays 2019 is an international scientific conference aimed at promoting the study and the discussion on issues relating to the population and society with a multidisciplinary approach.

 

Submissions should be made to one of the following conference strands, which will be developed into a series of sessions by the organizers (in parenthesis):

Fertility (Letizia Mencarini)
Families and Households (Elena Pirani)
Health, Mortality and Epidemics (David Stuckler)
Intergenerational Relations and Ageing (Luciana Quattrociocchi)
Human Capital, Education and Labour Market (Mariano Porcu)
Methods, Models, and Innovative Data (Alessia Melegaro)
Migration, Mobility, and Ethnicity (Giuseppe Gabrielli)
Development, Environment and History (Guido Alfani)
Inequality and Demography (Gabriele Ballarino, in collaboration with SISEC)
All other topics (Francesco C. Billari)
Poster  (Nicoletta Balbo)

SUBMISSION PROCEDURE

In order to start the submission procedure, you are required to login with your personal account. Please sign in as “Author” in order to be able to submit a paper.

If you previously registered in a recent edition of Popdays (i.e.: Firenze, Palermo, Bressanone) you simply need to login using your current username and password. Go to the Login section.

If you previously registered but you forgot your username and/or password, please use the password recovery procedure through the Login Section. We suggest you to change the authomatic password provided by the system at the first login. If you are not sure if you have registered before, you can contact us.

If you are a new visitor, you are requested to create a new profile (remember to sign in as “Author”).

Only after the account creation/login is it possible to start the submission procedure (link at the end of this page or click here).

Author Guidelines

Authors are asked to include a short abstract in English (max 200 words), plus upload either the extended abstract (2-4 pages) OR the full paper, in English language.

Please also include three to five keywords.

Please provide the full names, affiliations and e-mail addresses of all co-authors.
