The Italian Association for Population Studies (Sis-Aisp) invites contributions to the next Giornate di Studio sulla Popolazione (Popdays 2017) to be held in Florence, 8- 10th February 2017. Popdays 2017 is a general scientific conference aimed at promoting the study and the discussion of population research issues.

We are glad to inform that the opening plenary session of the 12th edition of the Population Days will be organized in collaboration with Swedish Demographic Association.
Gunnar Andersson and Gerda Neyer have confirmed their participation as keynote speakers of this session.
Authors are asked to include a short abstract in English (max 200 words), plus upload either the extended abstract (2-4 pages) OR the full paper, both in Italian or English language including the title and three to five keywords. Please provide the full names, affiliations and e-mail addresses of all co-authors. No author (or co-author) should appear more than twice on the final program.
Submissions should be made to one of the following conference strands, which will be developed into a series of sessions by the organizers (in parenthesis):
